Stephen Rofail Architect

Located on the Lavender Bay waterfront, this apartment has postcard views of Sydney harbour and the Sydney city skyline. The brief for this apartment was to fit out and furnish this apartment to lease with a quality comensurate with its location and views as an executive apartment.

The fitout was designed to maximise the feeling of space while at the same time personalising the various parts of the apartment to the specific needs and use of each area. 3x1m porcelain ceramic floor tiles were used throughout, including the balcony, to provide a feeling of spaciousness. Oak wall panelling was installed to the bedroom area to provide a calmer warmer reclining enviroment, separated from the crisp sharper living and dining area. The bathroom was finished in full height slab Ceasarstone Staturo white marble walls to eliminate the need for grout joints as well as to make the space feel a lot larger than the exiting space had allowed.

Lighting has been designed to accent the important elements within the space and not just blanket the apartment with light.

The furniture and furnishings have been selected and arranged to enhance the feeling of spaciousness of an executive apartment that is elegant and at the same time warm and welcoming and not too hard edged.
