A first floor extention was added to this two bedroom one bathroom terrace house on a tree lined street in Annandale. The extention included an additional bedroom and bathroom upstairs, as well as full refurbishent to the ground floor bathroom below, including the addition of a built in laundry off a new corridor leading to the new staircase and the upstairs bedroom.

In addition to this a combined pergola and shade structure was built to the rear of the house for outdoor entertaining as well as screening the western sun. A new concealled airconditioning system was provided to the first floor extention in addition to the existing open plan living room, dining room and kitchen through VRV units within the bathroom ceilings on both levels.

The end result was an elegant lofty first floor bedroom and bathroom extension in warm comforting tones and textures, filled with natural light and ventilation. The ground floor bathroom, laundry and staircase elegantly embody a calm serenity using the same comforting pallette of hues and textures.
